The Stitch Archive started as a tactile assortment of unique swatches and garments gathered by two textile designers throughout their careers in luxury fashion.

The Archive now serves as a research and development facility for designers, students, and the textile curious. We hold workshops and research visits, available for group and individual bookings.  

The Stitch Archive began work on a bio material in 2023 called Bequin TM, in collaboration with Botto Labs in Goa.  This material is designed to replace the plastic sequins used in the luxury fashion industry. We are busy developing this material further, as well as working to connect sustainable innovators with the fashion industry.
